Robert Plant Concert

When I moved to Houston, I never knew that I would move next door to a Zeppelin junkie like me, who would have thought? My neighbor and good friend, Erica, informed me a couple months ago that Robert Plant (former lead singer of Led Zeppelin) was coming to Houston with his band, Band of Joy, and asked if I wanted to go. Of course I said yes immediately and called my sweet college roommate (and fellow classic rock lover), Adrienne, and asked her to go with us. So, the 3 ladies joined the ranks of other Zepplin fans and made it a date night with our very own Robert Plant. A night to remember for sure!!!

We met up for dinner at Gooses Acre before hand and enjoyed a glass of Stella Artois and cake from Cafe Rustica...yumm!

Proof of my attendance

Adrienne, Erica, and me waiting for the show to start. Luckily we had covered seats (thank you Erica!), because just before the concert began, a huge storm blew through and it was lightening and thundering the whole time. It did make for some awesome background lightening!

Wish I could take credit for this photo, but my Kodak camera only takes blurry pictures.
