Fun in the Sun

Chris and I flew to Cancun last week and stayed at an all inclusive resort. It was the most relaxing vacation that I have ever been on and we would go back in a heartbeat. We stayed at the Sun Palace and we highly recommend it if you need 2 to 3 days to get away from reality and clear your mind. If you live in Houston, it is a mere 2 hour flight.

For the most part, we layed around by the pool or on the beach, drank as many mixed drinks as we wanted, and enjoyed the never ending food. It was like being on a cruise without ever sailing anywhere. Chris and I joked that the biggest decisions we had each day concerned which pool we should lay by or whether or not we should splurge for a massage later that day. hehehe...

Actually, we did get out a few times and actually went parasailing, drove speedboats, rode on jet skis in the ocean and went snorkeling. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics as I didn't want my camera near the water.

So, Chris and I were in a silly mood and decided we would play a few rounds of Jenga. Notice how distraught Chris was after he lost for the 3rd time in a row!







We decided that our favorite meal was breakfast. With omelets made to order and hot chocolate with cinnamon, who wouldn't be happy?




Actually had time to catch up on my reading, I felt like I was in heaven!

Okay, this was a bit on the cheesy side, but still fun and Chris was a good hubby to go along with me. We went to a Michael Jackson show the last night. Please excuse the balding heads in this pic. But doesn't that really like the King of Pop?
